EXSCLUSIVE | Made In Chelsea plane crashes in Pacific as cast and crew head to Costa Rica

Filming for a Made In Chelsea special has been abandoned after a plane carrying four of the production team crashed into the Pacific ocean.

The crew were flying to a location in Costa Rica when the flight plunged into the sea on Wednesday at around 6pm.

All four crew members - two senior producers and two technical directors - and the pilot on board the small, private plane were unharmed during the incident, which happened off the coast of Puntarenas.

Coast guards rescued the five people on board, and took them to a nearby hospital for medical examinations with support from local police.
